1. Was there a time where you had to be brave in a difficult situation?
Yes, I won’t get into details but it was when someone close to me was seriously ill. I’m the sensitive one in the family but I had to be the strong one in this situation. I find myself to be one of the bravest when others can’t be.
2. Who inspires you to be your best self?
There’s no one in particular who inspires me to be my best self. I think seeing the positive actions everyone around me inspires me to be a better version of myself and always aim to improve and grow.
3. What is your greatest personal achievement?
I think getting accepted into graduate school is a huge achievement considering I didn’t have a strong undergraduate academic and professional record. Also, I’m the first child to go to college in my family as well as a first generation student so that makes it more special to me!
4. Share a time where you acted selflessly.
I don’t want to share a specific time but I always put others needs before mine – or I should say I always used to! I still do put others needs first but not 100% of the time since people took me for granted at times.
5. What is the best compliment you have ever given?
Ooh I think the best one is when I’ve told a friend “thank you for being you”. I think being your own person is something people don’t do as much as they should. A lot of people lose themselves trying to “fit in” so I really appreciate seeing others’ raw, pure personality.
6. What is the best compliment you have ever received?
When people tell me they’re proud of me! I’m always super hard on myself when I do any type of work so I always appreciate when others tell me they’re proud of what I did – it’s one of the best compliments ever! Another compliment I seem to get often is that I’m mature for my age..and I still don’t really understand why people think I am..I’ll have to ask someone about that lol!
7. What’s your best beauty tip?
Wash your face every night, it will make a HUGE difference!
8. What beauty product makes you feel your best self?
Eyeliner! Long, sharp wings always makes me feel like I can take on any challenge.
9. What do you do that makes you feel like your best self?
Reading and blogging makes me feel like my best self since it’s two of hobbies!
10. What is something that you love about yourself?
Something I love about myself is that I am constantly growing to be a better version of myself. I have come so far in life and have much more to accomplish so knowing that I am becoming a better version of myself day by day gives me the confidence to keep working hard to reach my goals.
I really love how Beauteque is dedicating this week to spread positivity and the message to be our best selves! Let me know how you aim to be your best self in the comments!

Usually Mondays are bleh but I am so pumped for today since the collection I curated with Beauteque is on sale!
Beauteque had a competition a few months back where 3 bloggers were chosen to curate their own collection! The winners were Michele from Unboxing Beauty, Kristen from Newly Minted, and yours truly! I am SO thankful Beauteque allowed me to create this collection – it was such a fun experience and I will never forget it!
Let’s unbox this collection first and I’ll share more about my experience at the end!
The Glamour Collection features 5 full sized products to create a glamorous look as well as prep your skin before and after applying makeup! Glamour can be interpreted in so many different ways but in my comfort zone, a glamorous look entails a soft eyeshadow/face look with bold eyeliner and lips!

The Face Shop Herb Day Massage Cream in Mugwort – $9.00
Adding the massage cream was Beauteque’s idea and I was happy they wanted to include this because I am a huge fan of the cucumber massage cream I got in a past collection! You will either receive cucumber, aloe, or mugwort and what you basically do is massage it on your face for about 5 minutes and wash it off! The mugwort massage cream is meant to rejuvenate, refresh, and fight signs of aging!
Hello hello hello!
I am super duper excited about this unboxing because it’s one of the three collections bloggers curated with Beauteque!
Beauteque had a contest a few months back and three bloggers were chosen to curate their own collection! The winners were me, Kristen from Newly Minted, and the gal behind this collection – Michele from Unboxing Beauty!

I also partook in this contest and came in second place. I was sent this collection as part of the prize and thought it would be fun to review! Here’s my entry if you’re interested in checking it out!
