The palette that so many people have been waiting for is finally here! Morphe Brushes and Jaclyn Hill teamed up again to bring us a palette full of 35 shades created by the ever so beautiful and one of my personal favorites, Jaclyn Hill! Jaclyn had full creative control in this project and from the packaging to the shades to the formula, it’s clear she poured her heart and soul into this palette.
The only other Morphe Palettes I own are the two collabs with Jaclyn Hill and Kathleen Lights, both which I adore greatly. From the few days I’ve tested this particular palette, I can for sure say I will be using this frequently. I’ll go into detail below but if you’re here for the giveaway, scroll completely down – the Rafflecopter widget will be at the end of this post.

About This Palette
Here’s a description straight from Morphe’s website:
This is not your average eye palette. That’d be boring. We (and most importantly, Jaclyn Hill) don’t do boring. This palette is a 2-year love affair. 35 brand-new, OMG eyeshadows that Jaclyn whipped up, formulated, tested, re-tested, and perfected. They were created to deliver not only the best color payoff but also amazing application. Mattes, shimmers, satins, foils, and glitter: all pressed to perfection…just the way Jaclyn wanted. Her dreamy colors are now your reality. So whether you’re pressed for time or have time to play, this palette is your new bestie. Because a girl (and guy) needs to have options.
Cost and Shipping
This palette costs $38 which is a steal in my opinion, especially for the how great the formula of these shadows are. Shipping costs $7.95 for orders under $75 if you’re purchasing from Morphe but I highly recommend buying this palette from Ulta – shipping has a lower threshold ($50) and the Ulta Points System is the best.
If you do purchase from Morphe, they ship everywhere besides the following countries: Belgium, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Iran, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sudan, Switzerland, Turkey and United Arab Emirates.
The last two photos show the front and back of the palette. The packaging is white with silver lettering, some being foiled. I think it looks completely stunning and sleek BUT it gets dirty really easily. Mine is already trashed with a few uses but that’s okay – it’s the shadows I’m here for right?
The inside of the palette is silver used in the font with white lettering. The inside lid has a message from Jaclyn, “This palette is dedicated to all my loving subscribers”. *Cue endless sobbing*
This palette also comes with an information card detailing what the product is. The back of the card is pictured below and lists the names of all 35 shades in the palette.
Here is the inside of the Jaclyn Hill Palette. You can see the shade range is diverse and literally screams Jaclyn’s name. There are warm and cool tones, neutrals and fun shades, as well as a mix of finishes. You can create daily looks with these shades as well as fun looks for all seasons – the possibilities are endless!
About 95% of the palettes I own come with shade or two that simply suck but I was hoping this would be one of the 5% that had all around wonderful formulas since Jaclyn was in control of each one. Jaclyn did us well and I’m incredibly thrilled to say I every shade is pigmented, buttery, blends well, and has a great color payoff when applied to the lid! I haven’t encountered any patchiness and whatnot.
Let’s go into some swatches! I did them row by row, top to bottom. Like always, all of these swatches are without primer.
Can we take a minute to appreciate the last four in this row. Sissy and Little Lady especially..I died.
This entire row speaks to me on a spiritual level, like Queen and Firework and Pooter?! Yes please!
I am SO ready for Fall with this row..just imagine all the great looks we can come up with!
Royalty and Twerk? Um. YES! Plus look at those browns..I need a moment.
Pool Party and Jada are jaw dropping..I’ll probably be wearing them all summer long.
I wasn’t that excited when I heard about this palette. Yes, I was happy Jaclyn had another collab coming out, honest to god – I will probably buy everything she comes out with, BUT another Morphe palette? I wasn’t insanely thrilled about that because she had already created one. However, after seeing her talk about it and how she had 100% creative control in creating every single shade – I knew I had to grab not just one, but two. One for one of you because I know life is life and we can’t always buy what we want.
I can only imagine what putting two years of work into a palette must feel like for Jaclyn so there was no doubt I wanted to support her. I became more excited when I saw the actual product, swatches, and feedback from those who received it in PR – this palette looked like a total keeper.
I knew I would like it but I didn’t expect to fall in love with it as much as I did. The entire palette is amazing and I have much appreciation for Jaclyn because not only did she create this for herself, she created it for everyone who supports her. It has a wonderful shade range, the packaging is beautiful, and the price is SO affordable. I’d 100% recommend this for anyone who’s looking to add a new palette to their collection. You can check this palette out on the Morphe site or Ulta!
