Can you believe 2017 is about to end? I say this every year but my gosh, this year FLEW by! I am so blown away by this year, it was one of the most difficult years for me in so many different ways. I achieved some incredible goals and had some major meltdowns..this year was literally a rollercoaster but it was so worth the ride! I normally don’t like creating resolutions for the new year but I have thought of a few goals I want to try my best to fulfill, both physically and emotionally. More than that, I want to focus on Glamour and Giggles with a full force in 2018, which is why I’m writing this post today.
If you like things to the point, I created a blog survey I’d love for you all to participate in to help me create the right path for G&G and everyone who completes this survey will automatically be entered to win an Amazon or Sephora gift card – winner’s choice!

Tarte’s Tartelette Palettes are some of my all time favorite eyeshadows out there for a multitude of reasons – their formula is incredible, packaging is sleek and compact, the shade ranges of each are amazing for my skin tone, and I feel comfortable traveling with them without having to worry about packing other shadows or palettes to serve as a companion to them.
I bought all three at some point of my life and love each of them to bits. Now that I used the newest of the three enough to give my full thoughts, I thought it would be helpful to provide swatches and reviews of all three. I often do get asked which of the three I prefer the most and if the first two are too similar to each other to own both so hopefully this post can help you out if you’re wondering which one(s) to get!

Several months and 78 ColourPop Pressed Shadows later, I finally swatched and played with these babies long enough to give you all a full review. If you’re looking to purchase any shadows or looking for swatches with names, look no further! Hopefully these swatches + review will help you decide which shades to add to your collection.

Sometimes beauty does not have to break the bank. Lip liners are one type of beauty products I choose affordability over prestige brands. Of course some prestige brands will have better quality liners but in my experience, many drugstore liners have similar, great quality at a fraction of the price. So today I’ll be sharing 5 brands who make lip liners incredibly affordable without compromising quality!
Most lip liners I use are on the affordable side but that doesn’t mean I splurge on a few higher end ones. Let’s be real, if I could, I’d own lip liners from every brand out there. In case you’re curious, some higher end lip liners I enjoy are from Kat Von D, Mac, Urban Decay, and Bite Beauty. As much as I love them to bits, the ones I reach for the most are from the 5 brands I mention below. Better yet, they all cost less than $6 a piece!
