Azara Organics Seaweed Powder Review

image

So I received this product from Azara Organics for testing purposes a few weeks ago! Let me just mention that the owner of Azara Organics is so sweet! She stayed in constant communication with me after I was approved to test this product out through Tomoson! I love how passionate she is about Azara Organics and it was just refreshing to talk to such a lovely owner!

Azara Organics is a fairly new brand and I was excited to try their organic seaweed powder because it is completely chemical free and I’ve heard tons of great things about seaweed facial masks! Seaweed masks are great for your skin because they remove all the impurities and flush out toxins!

I have used this quite a few times ever since I received it! My goal has always been to use facial masks at least 3 times a week but I haven’t been able to keep up with my routine because of how draining school can be.

If you haven’t used a powder mask before, don’t worry – it’s super easy! Just take a spoon or two of this powder and mix it in 2-4 spoons of water and you’re done! However, if you do not like the smell of seaweed, I highly recommend adding in a drop of essential oil! I don’t know about you all but I CANNOT stand the smell of seaweed! I added in a drop of tea tree oil and it made this mask 100 times more bearable and it added a cooling effect to my face!

I applied a medium layer of the mask all over my face and left it on for 15 minutes! After it dried, I washed it with warm water and was amazed with how clean, smooth, and cool my face felt! I’ve noticed a difference in my skin in the past few weeks and will continue to use up this powder!

I’m totally addicted to this mask and will definitely buy more of it once I finish up this huge tub! If you’re interested in buying this seaweed powder, you can do so here for $17.95!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Three Ways To Get Free Gift Cards

Hi everyone! I’ve had a couple people ask me which websites I use to get free gift cards so I thought I’d put together a little post since the holidays are right around the corner!

The number 1 website I use is Swagbucks!

I’ve been using Swagbucks for YEARS and have gotten numerous gift cards from them! Swagbucks is my favorite because they have hundreds of different gift cards you can choose from and it’s super quick to accumulate points if you devote at least an hour a week to it! You can earn points from using Swagbucks as a search engine, playing games, watching videos, and more! Swagbucks will also reward you for your online shopping! If you want more information on Swagbucks let me know and I’d be happy to answer any questions/give advice!

Crowdtap is another website I use to get free giftcards! They have less variety and all winners are drawn randomly at the beginning of each month so you aren’t guaranteed anything BUT the more active you are the better chance you get at winning multiple gift cards! Crowdtap mainly gives out Amazon cards but they also give out Walmart, Target, Sephora, as well as other gift cards! All you have to do for Crowdtap is answer questions and it doesn’t take time at all!

Lastly, Trusper is a website I used in the past!
If you have an iphone you can download it for free! However, Trusper requires a bit more work but the prizes are great! Right now they have Amazon. Starbucks, Itunes, and Sephora gift cards (they do change up their rewards so this may not be what they currently have)! What you do is post tips/tricks or even lists of books/movies/tv shows and the most popular tips at the end of each day are rewarded with points!

So as of now these are the three apps/websites I use to get free gift cards! I think they will come in handy considering lots of you will be doing some holiday shopping soon! If you have any questions, feel free to message/email me!

Hope all of you beauties are having a wonderful weekend!

October 2014 Wet Shave Club Review

Wet Shave Club contacted me a few weeks ago asking if I was interested in reviewing one of their boxes and I just had to say yes! Although this is a men’s subscription service, their products intrigued me!

Wet Shave Club is a monthly subscription service that sends a box full of wet shaving goodies, which includes soaps, razors, and other shaving necessities! Prices vary from $29/month on a month-to-month basis to $19/month with an annual subscription! There are also 3 and 6-month plans as well!

Here is what their website has to say about their subscription service:

“WetShaveClub is about bringing back the manly ritual of traditional shaving. A warm lather, a sharp blade, and 10 minutes of bliss. Experience the joy of wet shaving, with a monthly box filled with different soaps, blades, aftershaves, and more from around the world.”

Onto the box!

Each box comes with a card that details 10 easy steps to an awesome wet shave!

image

Premium Wet Shave Club Double Edge Razor!

image

Everyone’s first box comes with this razor! It doesn’t feel heavy in your hands and it comes with a classic removable head. This blade looks so fancy, especially with its leather cover!

The Legends Alum Matchsticks

Super Max Blue Diamond Blades

image

I never knew these matches existed! I think the concept is super cool, they’re meant to stop small cuts from bleeding!

Wet Shave Brush

image

This is also sent to everyone in their first box! This is meant to be a great starter brush and although they don’t send brushes monthly, they will send more brushes as your subscription progresses!

Mickey Lee Soap Works in The Drunken Goat and Hallowed Harvest

image

These soaps look interesting and I love the packaging! This brand is completely new to me but judging from their website, the Hallowed Harvest seems to be popular considering it’s sold out!

If you’re into wet shaving I definitely recommend checking Wet Shave Club out! They have tons of goodies sent to you each month! Although the razor and brush are only sent to you in the first month, I’m positive they will be replacing these items with other great goodies in future boxes!

If you’re interested in subscribing check out their various plans here!

Buxom Lip Gloss Roulette Swatches and Review

So I caved in a few days ago and bought the Lip Gloss Roulette! I knew I had to own this set the minute they released photos! I’m a huge sucker of lippies, especially mini lippies!

This set comes with 11 Lip Polishes and 4 Lip Creams! This set costs $59 and has a $135 value! I mean, how can I not have it?!

I wasn’t sure if I would use every single lip gloss in this set but my doubts cleared away once I took swatches! (the last one is “Sophia” – the “a” sort of cut off)

I’ve always loved Buxom Lip Glosses because their glosses give this amazing cool, refreshing sensation and the colors are beyond gorgeous! This set is a total 10/10 for me!

You can purchase the Buxom Lip Gloss Roulette here!

Apothecary Extracts 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil Review

I was given an opportunity to review Apothecary Extracts 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil this past week and can say I had great results so far!

Here’s a little information about the Apothecary Extracts!

Apothecary Extracts was founded in 2013 because, as consumers, we were tired of not knowing what was in our essential oils. There are so many vendors that dilute their essential oils, or use unsafe extraction processes which contaminate the final product. The only way to be sure what is in your essential oils is to test them. But the tests are expensive so most brands don’t want to pay for this. Or they don’t want you to know the results!

We will only carry essential oils that we are 100% confident represent the best quality and potency available. And we’ll show you the test results to back it up.

Apothecary Extracts is committed to selling only the purest essential oils, and we have the tests to prove it. Available for purchase exclusively on Amazon.com.

I have used this Tea Tree Oil 3 times in the past week! The first two times, I added a drop into my facial masks, which created a cooling and more of a cleansing and soothing effect. The second way I utilized this Tea Tree Oil is by using a cotton swab to apply it on any pimples I had. This dried out the zits I had applied them to so I will definitely be using this remedy again! I am also going to add some of this to my shampoo because I read that it helps get rid of dandruff, which I have since my hair is super thick and curly!

Here is some more information + uses for Tea Tree Oil:

– One of the most versatile essential oils. Naturally fight Acne, Toenail Fungus, Lice, Yeast Infections, Skin Tags, Cold Sores, Dandruff, Ringworm, Fleas, Warts, Psoriasis, and More.

– Use to make your own Shampoo, Lotion, Soap, Face Cleaner, Body Wash, and Toothpaste. Stop polluting your home and make all natural Household Cleaners, Detergents, Shower Sprays, Bathroom Disinfectants, and Kitchen Sprays.

If you are interested in purchasing this Tea Tree Oil, you can do so right here! This 4 ounce bottle costs $24.99 and will last you over a year!

If you have some uses for Tea Tree Oil, please be sure to share them with me! I love hearing from you lovelies!

PINCHme NYFW Box Review

For those who don’t know, PINCHme is a FREE sampling service that allows its members to choose samples and have them mailed directly to their home! In order to qualify for future samples, you must review each product on the PINCHme website, but no worries, the reviews are super short and does not take much time!

This box was not given to all PINCHme users, it was a prize given to winners on Twitter a few weeks ago!

Although I was not one of the winners, PINCHme was kind enough to send me this box to review! This box featured numerous brand partners from the NYFW Event!

Just one look at the contents got me super excited!

Here’s a closer look at the contents!

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

Revlon by Marchesa File N’ Peel 6 in 1 Nail File

Toms Long Lasting Deodorant in Wild Lavender

I was so excited to see the Real Techniques brush because I’ve been in search of a new foundation brush and this one works really well! I’ve been using it for 5 days now and I’m hooked!

I was also excited to see this nail file in my box because I’ve read great reviews! I think it’ll be a great replacement for the one I have now!

I LOVE Toms Deodorant, however, I’m more of a fan of the roll ons but these are great too! I got one of these in my PINCHme boxes a month or two ago but I’m glad to have an extra!

ROC Retinol Correction Eye Cream

Renew Sleep Spa Mask

Kisstixx Lip Balm Duo

No7 High Shine Lip Crayon in Tickle

VBeute Anti-Aging Samples

The Eye Cream and Anti Aging samples I’m sure my mom will use more than me so I’ll be giving them to her! I know I won’t be using the Lip Crayon but I’m sending it to a friend so it won’t go to waste!

My mom actually used the Sleep Mask last night and she fell in love! We’re definitely going to be purchasing a whole set soon! As for the Lip Balms, I really want to use them but I already have 4 open lip balms that need to be used up first! I’m debating them on sending them to a friend or keeping them for the future! I’m intrigued because of how one’s sweet and the other’s sour and I’ve never tried this brand before so I’d love to see how it compares to the Chapstick and Deco Naturals I use now!

Essenza Luxury Hand Soap in Rosemary Mint

ecoTools Facial Sponge

Advanced Healing Blister Band-Aids

Packet of Kleenex

I love love love the hand soap! It smells great and definitely feels luxurious! I’m super excited to try the facial sponge, I feel like it will definitely help clean my skin better! I’m glad to see the Band-Aids because you can never have too many of them! They’re perfect for trips or just days you’re out and about for a long period of time! I was super happy to see the packet of Kleenex as well because it’s the time of year where I always get a cold! It’ll be perfect to keep in my bag!

Skinny Pop Popcorn

Skinny Cow Raspberry Crisp Candy Bar

Bobble Water Bottle

Pure Via Sweetener

I think the popcorn will be a great snack, especially since I have exams right around the corner and need my munchies!

I’m not going to lie, I immediately tore open the candy bar when I got this box! I couldn’t resist! I’m always hesitant when there’s fruit mixed in with chocolate but the raspberry wasn’t overwhelming at all! This bar tasted great, I’m totally going to buy some more!

I’ve heard about the Bobble water bottle but wasn’t sure to get it or not. I’m definitely going to put it in use and see how I like it! I think it’s the perfect size for days when I only have one class to attend! The only downside to the Bobble is that you have to replace the filter every 2-3 months and that can get pricey!

The Pure Via is completely new to me but I’m excited to try it!

This NYFC PINCHme box blew my mind! I was so impressed with all the full sized and sample sized products that were in the box! I’m really excited to try all of these brands and see what I love the most!

PINCHme did a great job with putting these boxes together! I’m excited to see what other contests they hold for everyone!

If you’re not signed up on PINCHme yet, I recommend creating an account as soon as possible! New samples will be released on Tuesday, October 21st at 12PM EDT!
