As much as I love creating full + medium coverage and glamorous makeup looks, my preference for the last few months has been a routine with minimal makeup for a natural, fresh look. It takes less time in the mornings and allows my skin to breathe. I only use 3 products in this makeup look: a blurring primer, mascara, and lippie and I’m sharing my favorite my favorites in each category!

Galentine’s Day is right around the corner and I was inspired to create a fierce, glam look to share with you all! I also tested out several new products so keep your eyes peeled for first impressions as well.

When someone asks me to name a foundation that completely gets my shade and undertone right, I instantly think of Cover Fx Power Play. I’m sharing all the deets about Cover Fx Power Play below and a couple looks of how this foundation sits on my skin. *This post contains affiliate links meaning I may make a small commission (at no cost to you!) if you choose to make a purchase with the links in this post. Urban Decay released several new eyeshadow palettes in 2018 and one of them was this beauty On the Run Mini Eyeshadow Palette in Shortcut. There are three On the Run Palettes, the other two being Bailout (cocoa neutrals and purple hues) and Detour (sienna-hued neutrals and teals+greens). These mini eyeshadow palettes were inspired by the Born To Run Palette.

Summer is in full swing and the heat is no joke! All of these items were a savior for me during the recent heat wave. They’re things I use often and were perfect to take on outings, making them great essentials for Summer!
One of the many beautiful things about Indian culture is the stunning clothing. ESPECIALLY for weddings. Indian outfits are so fun to wear but can break the bank. Sarees, Lehengas, Anarkalis, etc. don’t come cheap and honestly, they are not always my first priority when it comes to shopping since I don’t attend a huge amount of functions. For people who go to Indian events often, it makes sense to build a whole wardrobe but for someone like me who might attend 3-4 a year, I don’t find it practical to buy new outfits ever so often. That’s why I was so excited to hear about Almari Pret.
