If you’ve followed me for a while, you know some of my all time favorite lippies are from Lady Burgundy. Their Matte Lip Creams are some of the most comfortable, long wearing matte lippies on the market and today, they launched a new lip formula – Luxe Lip Lacquers. One swipe of Luxe Lip Lacquers will give you the perfect amount of pigment for your look!
Nude lipsticks have often been difficult to find, especially for someone like me with an olive complexion mixed with the fact that the beauty industry was not as inclusive back in the day. Thankfully, things are much more progressed, shade ranges are expanding and there are a ton of new beauty brands + OG companies that cater to a wider spectrum of consumers. I’ll be sharing nude lip products I absolutely am OBSESSED with that are perfect for brown girls, however, I believe most, if not all, of these would look beautiful on all skin tones. More so, I have lippies for all budgets whether you’re looking for something on the affordable side or something splurge worthy!

As much as I love testing out new makeup day to day, there are a few things in my daily routine that I absolutely cannot go about! Some of these products are almost new to me aka have been using for two-ish months while some I’ve been hooked on for the longest time. I’ll be sharing a few items that have worked positively for me but do remember, my needs may be different from yours so what works best for me may not always be something you might enjoy.

Welcome to the first installment of Small Shop Spotlight, today we’ll be getting to know the creator of Lady Burgundy! As some of you may know, I am very passionate about small shops and supporting them. It’s so inspiring to see individuals follow their dreams and start their own business. Over the past couple of years, I’ve been fortunate enough to get to know and work with a number of indie brands and to bring this blog series to life makes me so happy!
Today is National Lipstick Day and I couldn’t have thought of a better brand to start off with than Lady Burgundy! Plus, they recently released some brand new liquid lipsticks, so I’ll be sharing some swatches of those as well!
If you saw my introduction to this series a few weeks ago, feel free to scroll down a bit. If not – here’s a little rundown of what you can expect to see! I’ll be interviewing the creators behind the indie brands/small shops and showcasing their products. Liquid lipsticks are one of my favorite beauty products, I have hundreds and will definitely own hundreds more. So naturally, when Lady Burgundy came out with their new line of Matte Lip Creams, I was beyond ecstatic!
Lady Burgundy started off as a beauty, fashion, and lifestyle blog several years ago and since then has created their own line of cosmetics. These lip creams have been in the making for two years and are created with quality ingredients and are home made in Canada. Plus, these babies are cruelty free, always a plus in my book!
Disclaimer: I was sent these lip creams free of charge. This post is not sponsored and there are no referral/affiliate links. As always, all opinions are 100% mine.
