Skincare is an important regimen I wish I took seriously when I was younger. Not only does makeup apply much nicer with a healthier base but clear skin gives me a HUGE boost of confidence! Cost and availability are also huge factors when choosing products to include in my skincare routine. I tend to stick to more affordably priced products with skincare items I tend to run out of faster, like cleansers! NEUTROGENA® Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser is an incredible product to stock up on for those very reasons while purchasing it from your local Kroger!
GLOSSYBOX took on the theme of JETSETTER this month and sent a box full of wonderful essentials perfect for your next getaway! The design of the box is absolutely stunning with the yellow and pink tone – one of my favorite ones yet! Read on to see the fun goodies GLOSSIES received in May!

I miss doing Birchbox unboxings but with my latest move and other life changes, I haven’t been the best at fulfilling all my blog goals. April’s Birchbox came a few days ago and I feel somewhat more motivated and organized and thought, why not start sharing these again? However..I think my annual subscription is up..whoops! I’m not entirely sure if I’ll be re-subscribing but after what I got this month, I am so tempted to take the plunge and go for it!
If you’re interested, I did do a full unboxing on Instagram yesterday. You can check it out here under the “Unboxing” highlight!

As much as I love testing out new makeup day to day, there are a few things in my daily routine that I absolutely cannot go about! Some of these products are almost new to me aka have been using for two-ish months while some I’ve been hooked on for the longest time. I’ll be sharing a few items that have worked positively for me but do remember, my needs may be different from yours so what works best for me may not always be something you might enjoy.

Like most people, I suffered from horrible acne as a teenager. As an adult though, blemishes aren’t as frequent or intense as they used to be..most of the time. As a beauty enthusiast and blogger, I try TONS of different products frequently. While some, if not most, will work out for me – there are those few products that take me back to those high school acne times. After testing ZAPZYT’S line the last few weeks, I so wish I had these products back when I was younger!

Fortunately (and unfortunately – who likes to break out?!) I had a really bad reaction to some makeup wipes I was testing literally days before ZAPZYT landed on my doorstep so I was fully able to test out all the products and write about my zitful experience the last few weeks.
Let’s chat skin! I’ve been obsessed with skin care for as long as I can remember. I was that teen with horrible acne and picked literally every single zit and blackhead that popped up on my body, leaving me with HORRIBLE acne scars, some of which I’m still working to get rid of today. Because of what my skin went through in the past, I often have people ask me what I did to get my skin more clear and healthy.
I’ll be sharing three ways that help me achieve the clear, healthy skin I desire. Do keep in mind though, everyone has unique skin and what works for me may not work for you. The following are general tips but can be customized to your needs. If you do have more serious skin concerns, I recommend speaking to a dermatologist.
Today I’ll be sharing my skincare routine that allows me to achieve clear, healthy skin. I’ll be listing products I use day and night but I want to mention beforehand that the products I use often change, especially seasonally. I also test out a TON of skincare products to see if there’s anything better than what I use now. Skincare is something incredibly personal and unique to each and every individual so don’t take this as specific products you should be using. You can take this as types of products you might want to incorporate into your skincare routine such as masks, toners, serums, etc.
A little info about my skin type – I have combo skin that is sensitive and acne prone. Besides looking for products that aid in my skin type, I also look to include anti-aging products in my daily regimen. If you have a similar skin type to me, some of these products may intrigue you! If you’re looking for visuals, check out the widget I created at the end of the post – you can get more detailed information on almost all the products mentioned in this post!
